This project involved building a new head office for a Shizuoka-based newspaper delivery company.

We created an exterior that draws inspiration from newspapers and features repeated use of the square letter C, as well as Shizuoka-themed graphics on the spandrel sections.

With plans to lease the front of the building, the head office entrance was placed at the rear.

The yellow stairs leading up to leased offices on the second and third floors also provide an accent to the building’s exterior.

We also adopted a playful design for the parking area, where floor markings connect to the lighting and signs. (Project completed while at UDS)
