This project involved the production of a map to guide visitors around sightseeing spots in Kamaishi, Iwate, en route to the country’s only permanent Miffy cafe, Miffy Cafe Kamaishi. To-ripple was responsible for planning, design and creating graphics.

Under the concept of ‘exploring Kamaishi’s fascinating attractions with Miffy’, we embraced the tourist’s perspective in everything from the selection to the explanation of sites. We also sought to make the map fun to read and use, including a walking rally that visits 18 different Miffy characters set up along Miffy Street.
